Monday: 5.4 miles (6:42)
Tuesday: 10.6 miles (6:29)
Wednesday: 9.3 miles (6:49)
Thursday: 9.4 miles (6:32)
Friday: 5.4 miles (6:51); 6.8 miles (6:48)
Saturday: 8 miles (6:57). Ran in Boulder. Couldn't breathe and I wanted to walk when running up a 1.5 mile hill. I miss my sea level air.
Sunday: 5.9 miles with pick-ups
Week Total= 60.8 miles. Knee problem seems gone but I am way, way out of shape. I haven't even been doing any strides or anything because they seem like they would be too hard. I have Bolder Boulder on Monday, which I probably won't kill myself in and will be shooting for 75-80 miles for the week. But it's finally summer vacation, so I can get in some better training and update this blog a lot more.

May 12th-18th Training
Monday: 3 miles (6:41); 6.3 miles (6:48)
Tuesday: No Running
Wednesday: 4.6 miles (6:36)
Thursday: 3 miles (6:49); 6.8 miles (7:04)
Friday:5.3 miles (6:53)
Saturday: No Running
Sunday: 12.1 miles (6:35)
Week Total=41.1 miles. Finally a week with a few days of running. I'm way, way out of shape. The second set of two weeks off absolutely killed me. And now, I have the heat to deal with as well. But I felt like I finally hit my low point and from this point forward, I'll slowly gain back fitness. My mileage is way behind where it was at this point in 2013, and unless I run 130+ miles a week the rest of the year, I won't beat last year's total. Last week of school, so I'll finally be able to get more sleep and I could very well get chicked at Boulder Bolder on Monday.

May 5th-11th Training
May 5th-7th: No running.
May 8th: 2 miles. Only ran a couple because I wanted to keep in touch with the pounding and neuromuscular aspect of running. And also, I wanted to keep a little bit of inflammation to speed healing. Knee didn't really hurt
May 9th: No running.
May 10th: 3.7 miles with 5k in 16:38. Ran around 5:10 pace the first two then backed off to around 5:40 for the last. No knee pain
May 11th: 5.6 miles (6:39). Really wanted to walk the last mile.
Week Total: 11.4 miles. Super low volume again but at least my knee doesn't hurt anymore. Almost 10 pounds over racing weight and way out of shape. Shooting for 40-50 miles this next week and not looking forward to the whooping I will receive at Bolder Boulder.

April 28th-May 4th Training
Monday-Friday: No running. Freaking knee.
Saturday: 3.7 miles (7:04)
Sunday: No running.
Week Total: 3.7 miles. Lowest mileage week in a long time. I knew running the marathon wasn't the smartest thing, but I don't plan on feeling fit until August with a planned peak of October, so I have time. While my hip didn't hurt during the marathon, anytime I would externally rotate my right leg, it would hurt a lot. I guess those guys didn't do their job because weak external rotators can be a cause of patellofemoral syndrom (what I most likely have). I'll wait until I feel better before I slowly build up. But I do know that I will get destroyed at Bolder Boulder in a few weeks.
